WHAT IS MYC?
The Maronite Youth Convention is an annual Christian conference welcoming young adults from the Maronite Churches nationwide. Every year, we bring together 18-35 year old adults with the goal of strengthening our relationship with Christ, enriching our faith and creating connections between our various Maronite communities.
You don’t want to miss out on this amazing yearly tradition! Join us and learn about your Maronite roots, our Christian faith and build new friendships with participants across Canada.

Who can participate?Any individual of Christian faith aged between 18-35 years old is welcome! You don’t need to specifically be Maronite to partake in the event. *You must be at least 18 years of age on May 19,2023

How to register?The registration process and payment are done entirely online by clicking here, complete the application and e-transfer your payment to confirm registration. The early bird convention registration fee will cost $175, until March 19,2023 and $200 until April 23, 2023 (non-refundable). Remember that hotel group discount ends on April 19,2023. Fee includes the following: - All meals included Friday to Sunday - Transportation between events - Guest speaker and activities - MYC promotional material (T-shirt, etc.)

Where can I stay?The Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites, in Markham (8500 Warden Ave., Markham, ON L6G 1A5). The discounted room rate of $175+fees and taxes/night is valid until April 23, 2023. Each room has 2 double beds and accommodates up to 4 people per room. Reserve your room online with the discounted group rate at Hilton online reservation Or through the Phone: 1-800-593-9223 - press 1 - speak to central reservation associate-Arrival date: May 19th Departure date: May 22nd, use GROUP CODE: 0CFY2. Please note, the method of payment provided is not charged immediately, it is simply to reserve and although the hotel website/link states $185/night, you will only be charged $175/night at check in. If anyone desires to stay at another location, they must do so only after receiving approval from their respective youth leader in order to keep track of the whereabouts of all participants. Note: Hotel check-in is open at 3 pm on May 19.

How do I get to Toronto?Each parish is responsible for arranging their own transportation services to Toronto. Communicate with your youth leader to find out details. If you are travelling by bus, train, or plane independently, please send us your itinerary to info@myccanada.com by April 30, 2023, so that we can arrange for your transportation to the hotel.

What should I bring?Do not forget that Toronto can sometimes be chilly in May. Also, the essentials include healthcare card, dress code apparel, hygiene kit.

When does MYC registration start?MYC registration starts at 6:00 pm on May 19,2023. Given the different arrival times, you will be able to register at any moment Friday evening.
